The Eaglebald is Eaglehawk’s own version of the famous Archibald portrait festival. This year we bring you three prize categories :

  • Portrait

  • Open or Fiesta Themed

  • Recycled sculpture 

The Dahlia and Arts Eaglebald  entries will be on display in three locations:

  • Local shop windows.

  • The Eaglehawk Courhouse.

  • The Eaglehawk Recycle Centre (Sculptures only)

Annual Dahlia and Arts festival - 2025 Theme  Fiesta

This year’s Dahlia and Arts theme is 'Fiesta' to coincide with the upcoming Frida Kahlo – In Her Own Image exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery.

The entry fee will be $5 per person with a maximum of 3 items per entry. Please fill in the details of each of your entries below.

Not every item needs to be listed.


Please print the PDF entry you receive by email, cut out the details of each artwork and stick to the back of the piece. This makes life much easier for the organizers, Thankyou!


Prior to the exhibition in March, entries are to be dropped off  at : 

Portrait and Open: The Eaglehawk Court House,   Saturday March 1, 10:00am-12:00pm

Sculptures: Eaglehawk Recycle Shop, 189 Upper California Gully Rd, Eaglehawk.  7 th and 8th March between 10.00am and 3.30pm – a volunteer will be available to assist. Centre closes at 4pm  


Photos will be taken of all artworks entered at time of submission.
